COACHING

ELITE SQUADS

Elite squads are from 6 - 18 years of age and include mini, midi and full court tennis. These squads are designed for children who may have the potential to perform at an Ulster level or beyond. Elite squads recieve up to 3 hours coaching per week usually in the form of 2 x 1 1/2 hour sessions per week. Elite squads will vary depending on the age group but they will include technical and tactical coaching as well as regular mathplay practice.

Elite squads take place at various times throughout the week from Monday - Friday starting from 4.30. All of the full squads then join together on a Saturday afternoon (12.00am - 1.00pm) for matchplay practice where they will have the chance to practice what they have been learning during the week through fun games and friendly matches.

DAYS & TIMES

All of our squads run for a 10 week block 3 times a year (Sept-Dec, Jan-April & April - June). There is normally a half term break during the 1st and 2nd terms where friendly matches either internal between squads or external against another local club will be arranged for players in full cquads. For the dates of the current or next term please take a look at the calendar. All the eilte squads have a matchplay session on Saturday afternoon from 12.00pm - 1.30pm.

Elite squads are by invitation only however if you feel that your child may be suitable for an elite squad please contact us.

COST

The costs below are for a 10 week session which will (if the calendar year allows for it) include a week for half term where there will be a free day of team matchplay & fun games for Midi Squads.
